Yoga from the Heart Canada with Anne Parsonage
What we teach
Yoga from the Heart Canada is an active form of spiritual yoga designed specifically to meet the needs of Westerners with their fast pace of life, and their relatively solid inflexible bodies. It combines the ancient wisdom of the East with the practical down-to-earth approach of the West.
What makes us different
Although our classes are active and physically challenging, nevertheless, the essence of Yoga from the Heart Canada is gentleness and ease of movement, with none of the competitiveness which can often turn hatha yoga into merely a physical exercise. Yoga from the Heart Canada is a devotional expression of inner awareness. It nurtures confidence, and a new sensitivity … and it uncovers an inner peace which helps one cope with the hectic lifestyle most of us find ourselves living. Read more on Yoga Description page.
We also offer a free online Spirituality Group, consisting of an ongoing experiential book study of Bhagavad Gita (the ancient timeless living source text of yoga, which describes the spiritual path in the context of Karma, Jnana, and Bhakti yoga), as well as a group Meditation practice.
